gattaca for me was one movie that made me not look forward to the future because of its inequallity. in the movie when you are born you are alrdy labeled and designated what yu will be based on yur genetics. this gives no one oppurtunity but only to the people born ahead of the curve. sure this gives people with the best chance to the best fit people for the job but that absolutely kills everyones ability to dream. you are told how everything is goin to be and that is just wat yu noe and how yu live there fore yu know no better but the ability to dream and succeed is what strives people to invent new things and ideas, not being told this is what your gudd at so do this .
truthfully yes it would be cool to be able to have skills down to a science so yu know what yur genetically gudd and and not so gudd at but as humans we as such cocky mammals we would not be able to help against being prejudice against the less fit. lets face it througout human history and to this day we are still prejudice and it was all based only on things yu could see like race and gender and in the movie we take it to the next level and discriminate people through science. mayb this would be a good idea and it would help us fiind the next einstein before he goes out in the world and wastes his mind and instead have him study what he is suppose to no best and influence him to learn more, but i for one dont want to know because i believe in equal rights and oppurtunities and the morals and work ethic a child picks up will not be evaluated in thïs "genetic rating system" and hard work and some times beat out talent .

environment
there many of different veiws on what our environment would look like depending on what movie yu r watching of course. for example in i am legend due to the fact the world is ending and almost everyone in the planet is dead most man made things are feeling apart and natural things are taking over as yu can tell this in one of the very first scenes and it shows new york with its buildings falling apart and new wild life everywhere.there are also movies like terminator or i robot that show is being taken over by our own creatiions. this an idea that has been explored since the sci fi movie craze began and that was all we really thought it was. but now looking at it our machines are getting so smart whos stopping them from getting a mind of its own one day ?! lol
just about everything we do today is made with computer which made a lot of peoples jobs much easier which was its perpose so now we are at the point where we take what rlly is isnt a lot of work to begin with and thing about how to make it easier. today most things computer ran can be done automatically, who noes what they will come up with 15 yrs from now. before even the most advanced technology had to be man operated but in todays day most things the computer can handle on its own for most things but hopefully it stays at a material we use to make our life easier then having it take over our lives and we are held helpless by machines !! =p

religion
for just about everyone relgion is a very touchy topic because it is not a matter of right or wrong but a matter of faith one has for his or her religion . that creates problems because someone's religion could say one thing and someone else's could say the exact opposite and while there really is no right or wrong in this situation if they were to conversate of the difference most likely it would end up in an arguement because in their mind the other is wrong. recently though i have been watching a program that veiws among other things human religions and how they differ but yet are very similar and how that corresponds to a possible misinterpitation of other worldly beings. basically this show trys to prove that our religions we have all over the world is not jus made up with fantasy but with misinterpetation of aliens and alien technology.
for example in one of the episodes they state that in most relions around the world when their gods or angels appear they always decend from the sky generally in a cloud of smoke or a gleaming light and mayb even loud rumbles come from them. those decriptions sounds very simple to an air craft of some sort landing, which by the way they had no way to describe. also appearnttly in greece mythology in which everyone knows about mt. olympus where all the gods lived, but one thing i never heard of and that truly blew my mind was that they decribed the top of mt olympus litterally coming off in a cloud of smoke from time to time. that to me is undoubtable evidence that there was some sort of aircraft there that housed aliens that they consided gods. sure i noe this sounds like a crazy theory but it doesnt sound so unrealistic when you consider that in that time they had no serious technolgical advances and witnessing something like and aircraft coming from the sky with people inside with these fancy toys and weapons could b easilly considered as a devine moment .

war
one thing you see throughout the history books and it unmistakiblly helped shaped our world today is war. us as humans have been fighting wars since the beggining of time and we will more then likely continue this trend into our future but will there be any changes to them? well most of our history as humans we have been held with limited ways of communication there fore making the world a lot smaller for people because all they knew really was wat was around them. this means the scientist who discovers something in rome will have a very very hard time finding or sharing his work with other scientists doing similar work in china lets say. well with the bettering of our ways of sharing information like tv, radio, and phone and most importantly the internet our advances in technology and there for knowledge has truly been remarkible.
taking that into consideration one change in war that sounded farther fetched 25 years ago is the idea of us not having wars with different races of humans but wars with different races other than humans !! i know it sounds like a scene from star wars when yu picture humans fighting against an alien race in space but i think our world has gone through a lot of changes in recent years and made us more open to change, but the final tipping point to us as a planet uniting is the discover of aliens. when wen found out about alien we will realize the world is a bigger place then we thought and we need to sick with the people around us, but with a much larger distance of communication then our ancestors of course lol .

bio tech
one of the greatest movies of all time, and one of my personal favorite movies, Avatar is a great example of bio tech. in the movie which i am sure most people have alrdy seen jake sully , the main character in the movie, has the power to control an alien body or as they call it an avatar. This shows huge technological advances from our time that we are in but the most intriguing part is that it is technology being able to controll nature. i believe we will wrk towards being able to mix nature with technology but right now it is just an idea but the movie rlly made that idea come to life .
its crazy to see the technological advances we are witnessing in our . in a matter of 10 years or so our phones went from simply being able to make phone calls to be able to physically ask it a question and have it anwser it for you. this forces me to not doubt any thing in the technology field and just brush it off to the side as sci fi ideas. for example about a year about i read that they are truly advancing towards a biological "printer" that will enable us to print out human organs . yahh i said the same thing when i heard it but considering the times we are living in today i asked myself, why not ?

Government
Real steel the movie i wrote about last had another part of it that somewhat caught my attention . i believe that this movie showed how wide spread the social difference are. for example in the beginning of the movie he is where it appears to be the south and the people in that scene just seemed exactly what yu would imagine a "red neck" southerner would b like if they were witnessing a robot fight an it was rowdy excited and almost barabaric showing me that they are of lower class nd of less money .
on the other hand there is a man from new york that is looking for custudy of hugh jackmans son because the mother died and hugh jackman was never rlly there . this man hadd a whole lot of money as apposed to the rowdy southeners well at least it appears that way . the man from new york was suppose to pay hugh jackman in the movie $100,000 in $50,000 intervals and lets b honest now what middle classed man has enough money to jus throw $100,000 at someone and say keep it .
this large spread differnce between their lives forces me to believe that in this time there isnt so much middle class but mainly higher and lower class.this is a problem for us today, the disappearing of our middle class because it seems like today the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

technology
recently I watched a movie that was based in the future And they depicted it exactly as I would imagine it to be. It showed how people would get to consumed by technology and cool gadets tothe point where even sports have been taken over by robots. In this movie the main character played by Hugh Jackman who makes his money with robots fights, but unfortunately for him he is not quite as successful in this "sport" as he was in the sport he was passionate about. appearantlly at this time fighting sports like boxing, mixed martial arts, etc. are a thing of the past because everyones in more interested on watching robots fight rather than humans. i think it sounds like a none sense thought but it wouldnt be to hard to believe considering the fact today much of our lives are consumed so much by technology today .
Today everyone owns a fancy touch screen phone or a touch pad and that alone supports this idea but also considering the fact that we as humans have a mob mentallity at things in certain occation no matter how civil you may believe you are. if you put two big robots in a ring and make them fight just about everyone will have some interest in it. unfortunately for hugh jackmans character technology took over his passion and forced him to no longer pursue it and robots taking human jobs is nothing new to us but knowing that our life gets consumed so much by our technology that we have to make our life easier and/or more entertaining should we really be looking forward to all these advances in technology ?
